It's finally starting to feel like fall and winter in New Jersey. Whether you're ready for the colder weather or not, sometimes New Jersey feels like a ghost town this time of year. We're here to give you some information on Woodland Village's Christmas Wonderland, which takes place from the weekend of Black Friday, up until Christmas! 

Woodland Village is located at 1943 Route 9 Clermont NJ 08210. It is home to over 14 unique small businesses. Shop Wild Magnolia boutique for all women's fashion, home decor and accessories. There's a men's store and a children's store, along with a great soap store, and a soy candle store. There's even an ice cream parlor that makes fantastic hot chocolate this time of year! Shopping small is so important and these shops are worth a stop in, you won't regret it!

Black Friday is when the tree lighting takes place. Tons of people come out to this event- it's usually dark at first to build suspense. The Garden Center does a countdown, and then...... the entire village lights up in beautiful Christmas lights! Be sure to bring the entire family, because Santa, and sometimes Mrs. Claus, are there to take pictures and hand out candy canes! It's a fantastic photo opportunity. 

The majority of the shops are open from 10-5, and from the Black Friday-Christmas time frame, they are all open everyday! I would recommend getting to the shops around 3 or 4, later in the day. Do all of your shopping, shop local and shop small business, and when the shops close at 5, and it gets dark, grab a cup of hot chocolate and walk around to admire all of the Christmas lights!
